Born and raised in the foothills of The Pacific Northwest; Danny latched onto music at a young age. Early influences in the punk rock scene shortly turned to interest in American folk. Well traveled, Danny has lived and toured as a guitar tech all over the United States and other countries. His debut album "The Odd Story E.P." Rayvon Pettis is from Ft. Payne, Alabama. Where he ran track and watched a lot of cartoons and Evil Dead movies. He served two tours of duty in Afghanistan before moving to Nashville and performing music. Pettis is a country-folk-Americana guy and performs both solo and with the legendary east nashville backing band “The Big Dumb”.
On May 18th 2015 he independently released his debut album "Insureda". Rayvon has shared bills with a lot of admirable people/artists including; Margo Price, Aaron Lee Tasjan, Darrin Bradbury and Jim Lauderdale. He Embodies the term "folk" and some would even say he channels the inner Townes Van Zandt in all of us. His songs tell a story and his voice is that of an old soul.
